A rapidly growing US-based DTC consumer products company is looking for a Supply Chain & Operations Specialist to help scale its global operations.
The company designs and markets innovative lifestyle poducts that improve everyday life, selling primarily through its Shopify store, Amazon, and an expanding international distribution network serving customers across the UK, Australia, Canada, and New Zealand.
This is a hands-on builder role. You'll design processes, improve systems, leverage AI and automation, and ensure inventory flows efficiently across DTC, Amazon, and international channels.
What You'll Own
Supply Chain Management
Own end-to-end inventory planning across Shopify, Amazon FBA, and international fulfillment channels.
Maintain healthy inventory levels while minimizing stockouts and excess inventory.
Coordinate inventory movement across multiple warehouses and fulfillment partners.
Demand Forecasting
Build and maintain SKU-level demand forecasts using sales velocity, seasonality, promotions, and historical trends.
Plan inventory requirements for product launches and peak seasons (especially Q4).
Continuously refine forecasting models using business data.
Inventory Systems & AI Automation
Own and improve AI-powered inventory planning systems.
Build and maintain reorder point logic, dashboards, automations, and operational alerts.
Identify repetitive operational work that can be automated.
Manufacturer Management
Plan and place purchase orders based on demand forecasts and manufacturing lead times.
Calculate production quantities and container utilization.
Maintain strong communication with manufacturing partners.
Freight & Logistics
Track shipments from purchase order through manufacturing, freight, customs clearance, and warehouse receipt.
Coordinate with freight forwarders and logistics partners.
Monitor timelines and proactively resolve delays.
3PL Operations
Manage day-to-day communication with our third-party logistics partner.
Coordinate inbound shipments and verify receiving accuracy.
Monitor warehouse performance against service level agreements.
Provide quarterly inventory and volume forecasts to support labor planning.
Amazon Supply Chain
Manage replenishment from the 3PL to Amazon FBA.
Maintain appropriate inventory buffers between fulfillment channels.
Prevent stockouts while minimizing storage costs.
International Operations
Manage manufacturer-held inventory used for international dropshipping.
Coordinate fulfillment across UK, Australia, Canada, and New Zealand.
Maintain inventory availability for region-specific SKUs.
Order & Inventory Reconciliation
Perform daily reconciliation between customer orders, shipments, and inventory movements.
Identify and resolve fulfillment discrepancies before customers are impacted.
Investigate silent fulfillment failures and inventory variances.
Returns & Refund Auditing
Monitor refund rates against actual product returns.
Identify operational leakage including lost inventory, return-to-sender issues, and address validation failures.
Recommend improvements to reduce operational losses
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with Customer Experience to resolve fulfillment-related escalations.
Work closely with leadership to improve operational efficiency.
Build documentation and scalable operating procedures as the business grows.
Reporting
Own weekly operational reporting, including inventory coverage by SKU, reorder timelines, fulfillment SLA performance, refund and return trends, inventory health metrics, supply chain risks and recommendations
What We're Looking For
Experience managing supply chain or inventory operations for an eCom business
Experience building AI automations or leveraging AI tools to improve operations.
Experience with Amazon FBA inventory management and international fulfillment operations
Familiarity with inventory planning software and ERP systems.
Strong forecasting and inventory planning skills
Experience working with manufacturers, freight providers, and/or 3PLs
Highly analytical with exceptional attention to detail
Comfortable working independently with minimal oversight
Strong written communication and follow-up skill
